Meet my friend Nicole, her husband Jason, and their very handsome son, Coleson.  All the props in the world to Nicole, who was 7 months pregnant at the time, for being an awesome trooper for this shoot!  Due to crazy, gale-forced winds and soggy grass we had to change our location at the last minute, which required the hauling of a miniature rock band into the woods, through a valley, and up a mountain.  Ok, maybe there wasn’t a valley or a mountain, but when your hauling photography gear, a kid-sized band ensemble, and a three-year-old it can seem like you’re climbing a mountain!  But we made it and it was awesome!  Coleson ran, chased bubbles, played catch, and found every possible acorn within a 1-mile radius.  It was beautiful!

I have never seen a child so excited by acorns before!

Coleson found a spider while we were walking and was amazed, if not a little terrified.  I was terrified too, so Andy shot these!
