. . . married next week! These two are getting married this Saturday and Andy and I are so stinkin’ excited for their wedding! We know it’s going to be all types of fabulous!!!
We got together with Rachael and Mark last month for a fun, laid-back engagement session in Mt. Adams. (Oh, Mt. Adams, how I adore you! I didn’t know Ohio could be so cool!) We played with their pooches, roamed around Eden Park, and set off paper lanterns. It was a blast.
Funny story about the end of their engagement session: Andy is always giving me a hard time about how I need to be more professional and business-y, which is totally not the way I am, but I like to try to please my dear hubby. So, I thought I would start shaking people’s hands at the end of engagement sessions—kind of like a seal-the-deal-nice-taking-your-picture type thing. However, like I said, I’m definitely not Ms. Business Woman, so for me the gesture is always kind of painful, although business-y and professional. At the end of Rachael and Mark’s engagement session I was getting in to my about-to-shake-your hand-position when I realized shaking hands is for the birds and so I threw it out the window and reached in for a hug from Rachael instead. And she hugged me back! And then we laughed. It was awesome! And so, gone are the days of shaking clients’ hands and in are the days of hugging!

I spy a tiny birdhouse in the photo above. Can you find it? :)

Hansel and Gretel!

Rachael’s ring is so beautiful, I couldn’t stop taking pictures of it! It’s an ethically sourced man-made diamond.

After hanging out with their dogs, Rachael changed into the most gorgeous yellow dress. I loved it! Mark didn’t look too bad, either. ;)

My favorite photos of the day! ^
